On September 3, 2017 friends, family, and community members will gather at the Osage National Golf Club for the 1st Annual Alan Frederick Schien Memorial Golf Tournament . This event honors the life and spirit of Alan Frederick Schien and the joy he brought to those who knew him. It is presented by the "Fredhead Club" - open exclusively to individuals with Frederick as a middle name - of which Alan was a founding member. Proceeds will benefit Easterseals Midwest .  About Easterseals: Easterseals helps individuals with developmental disabilities- including autism-learn, live, work and participate in the community. EASTER SEALS MIDWEST ANNOUNCES NEW CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT                New Tourney Reflects Statewide Focus on Services for Developmentally Disabled St. Louis-based Easter s eals Midwest announced today a new golf tournament fundraising event has been scheduled for Labor Day weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks.  The tourney is the first annual Alan Frederick Schien Memorial Golf Tournament, named in honor of ESMW board member Kent Schien’s son, Alan, who passed away on November 1 st , 2016 after living a fulfilling and productive life with Muscular Dystrophy . The tournament will be held on Sunday, September 3, at Osage National Golf Club at the Lake of the Ozarks with a 1:00 shotgun start.  Check-in and lunch will begin at 11:00, and a BBQ dinner will be provided after golf, along with a silent and live auction.  The tourney format will be a 4-person scramble, an...
