Come Join Us in Celebrating the Memory of Alan Frederick Schien

On September 3, 2017 friends, family, and community members will gather at the Osage National Golf Club for the 1st Annual Alan Frederick Schien Memorial Golf Tournament. This event honors the life and spirit of Alan Frederick Schien and the joy he brought to those who knew him. It is presented by the "Fredhead Club" - open exclusively to individuals with Frederick as a middle name - of which Alan was a founding member.

Proceeds will benefit Easterseals Midwest

About Easterseals:

Easterseals helps individuals with developmental disabilities- including autism-learn, live, work and participate in the community. The agency provides services for more than 4,600 children and adults through four divisions:

       ·         Autism Services

       ·         Community Living Services

·         Early Childhood Services

·         Employment Services

For 50 years, Easterseals Midwest has been at the forefront of helping Missourians with disabilities and their families live better lives. From early childhood education and in-depth autism training, to job training and community living support, Easterseals Midwest helps people with developmental disabilities and their families address life's challenges and achieve personal goals.

The resources available to us through Easterseals and its affiliates across the country allow us to enhance our services, generate additional funding to better support our programs, and develop new programs and/or treatment strategies. In addition, the national network gives us an advantage with the federal government to promote public policy that expands services to unserved and under served individuals. All of this gives us the opportunity to both improve and expand our services for individuals with developmental disabilities in the communities we serve.

About Osage National Golf Club:

We’re the “Must Play” public golf course at the Lake because we make golf fun and relaxing. As you arrive at Osage National Golf Resort, you realize you’re at a special golf destination. If this is your first time at our facility you may have a few questions, but rest assured, we are here to provide you a memorable experience.  Drop your bags at the bag drop and one of our professional staff will take your clubs to an awaiting cart. As you enter the golf shop, you’ll find a warm and friendly Midwestern welcome.

Five sets of tees means that every golfer can enjoy Osage National. If you’re a serious golfer, head for the gold tees and you’ll get every bit of over 7,200+ yards. But don’t worry, there’s a tee waiting for every level of golfer. You can choose from any of the following sets of tees with approximate yardages depending on which combinations of nine holes you choose to play.

Sponsorships & In-Kind Donations

Sponsorships and in-kind donations help offset the costs of the Alan Frederick Schien Memorial Golf Tournament. All proceeds from the tournament directly benefit children and adults with developmental disabilities, helping them gain access to services.

If you can’t make it to the Alan Frederick Schien Memorial Golf Tournament but still want to get involved, you can still make a donation to Easterseals Midwest in honor of Alan Frederick Schien.
